Job Description:
1. Participate in the review and evaluation of software/storage requirements and specifications from security requirements perspective
2. Provide feedback on security implications on tasks of mid-level complexity from the design specifications
3. Seeking to build in security during the development stages of software systems, networks and data centers
4. Looking for vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software
5. Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
6. Provide solutions and suggestions to customers who seek our help on security related questions
7. Provide solutions and/or workarounds for the vulnerabilities uncovered by external researchers.
Candidate Profile:
Education/Experience: 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
Required Skills:
1. Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software and networks
2. Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions
3. Ability to seek out vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures
4. Ability to code/debug moderately complex programs using either written or verbal design specifications
5. Advanced understanding of hardware and software interactions
6. Knowledge of software architectures and applications
7. Knowledge of server, storage, networking and client technologies
