Job Description:
1. As IBM MQ development team member you will –
2. Design and develop new product features on z/Os. Modernize IBM MQ to leverage latest and cutting edge technologies in z/Os.
3. Design and autmate test cases on z/Os. Design, development and execution of test scenarios, test cases.
4. Apply problem solving skills to diagnose potential product issues, provide thoughtful, expert advice to help mitigate problems and deliver product code fixes.
5. Development of tooling to aid in enhancement of product experience.
6. Actively collaborate with both local and worldwide team members.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Bachelors Degree
Experience: 2 - 6 years experience in Software Development
Required Skills:
1. Excellent skills in C or Java programming language.
2. Good knowledge in z/Os system programming.
3. Good knowledge in : z/OS, Unix System Services, JCL, HLASM
4. Knowledge in CICS, COBOL DB2 / IMS DB is a plus.
5. Ability to pickup product and technical skills quickly and become productive at the earliest.
6. Knowledge in Kubernetes, Containers, IBM MQ is a plus.
7. Experience in design, development, test and support of software products.
8. Experience in problem solving & diagnosis, troubleshooting and diagnostic tools
9. Familiarity to any Messaging product ( IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, MQTT ).
10. Exposure to agile development methodology and tools (RTC)
