Position Overview:
At VMANICO, We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a robust background in either ASP.NET (MVC) or Node. js or Java development. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in modern development practices and complex technologies, including Java EE or .NET or Nest.js frameworks, advanced database interactions, API development, and cloud platforms. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions while ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using .NET (ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#) or
Node.js (Nest.js Mandatory) or Java (Java EE, Spring, Hibernate) frameworks.
Architecture & Design: Collaborate with architects and senior developers to define application architecture and design patterns for complex systems.
Database Management: Implement and manage advanced database solutions, including SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases. Design efficient database schemas and optimize query performance.
API Development: Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs to ensure robust and secure integration with other systems and services.
Security: Apply and enforce security best practices across applications to protect against vulnerabilities and threats. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
Unit Testing & CI/CD: Develop comprehensive unit tests using frameworks like JUnit, NUnit, or xUnit. Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
Cloud Technologies: Utilize cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS to deploy, manage, and scale applications. Experience with serverless computing, containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration is a plus.
Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications and optimize for efficiency and scalability.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for code, processes, and systems to support ongoing development and maintenance.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Propose and implement improvements to development processes and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development with extensive expertise in either Java or ASP.NET (MVC) technologies.
Database Skills: Strong experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases. Proficiency in designing and optimizing complex database solutions.
API Development: Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Security: Deep understanding of security practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Unit Testing & CI/CD: Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, NUnit, xUnit) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, including serverless computing and containerization.
Technical Skills:
For .NET: Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core.
For Node.js: Expertise in MEAN, Nest.js, Microservices, JWT Authentication
For Java: Expertise in Java EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Advanced certifications in ASP.NET (MVC) or MEAN Stack or Java technologies, or cloud platforms.
